TUESDAY- 4:00 AM- I wake up. Get dressed do all that morning crap. 4:05- Seems I was so excited I did it way to fast. So, I pace around and watch TV. Cool. 4:46- Leave the house, say goodbye to the animals. 4:56- Arrive at school, even though we "weren't" supposed to get there before 5:00, almost half of everybody was there anyway.
So once we all get settled and in the bus. It's time to go. We're still all very tired at this point, but too awake to go back to sleep. (Don't you hate that feeling?)
Around 7:20 or so, we learn that the other bus with our team's boy's have just gotten a flat tire. So they send us to a rest area. (Which was quite nice, they had a coffee machine and picnic tables etc.) And they send our bus to go get them. Once everyone is here they have to fix the flat. So about an hour later we all start going back. (So now we are very late for Pamplin Park.....)
Then so many more hours later we get to Pamplin Park.
That was about half n' half, some was pretty interesting, the other was boring and you wanted to go to sleep. But since we were so late, we didn't go to the air and space museum. Who knows what that might have been like? Oh well, less questions we have to answer.
OFF TO WASHINGTON. It's pretty late once we get there, so we go to a mall to eat dinner....yeah, then we get back on the bus and go to like...every single memorial. It was pretty nice though, because the WWII memorial was a big waterfall and it was all lit up- at night? Very nice. But once we were through with that everybody was tired. Except Alex....whom I don't think was EVER tired. haha.
THAT NIGHT- The hotel was very nice, the lobby was HUGE and we didn't think it would be that good. So that was a nice suprise. So we all take showers blah blah blah, but Alex isn't tired, unlike myself. So haha, she wanted to stay up all night. ALL. But yeah a couple hours later we were all asleep. Although, it was kind of funny when they called and Alex picked up and was like "Alex's room.....mm-hmm, mmm-hmm....no....yeap....bye." And that was pretty much the whole conversation.
WEDNESDAY-
We wake up around 6:00, then we all get ready blah blah. We turn on MTV and MTV II to watch music videos while we get ready. Yeap. Then we go downstairs to breakfast. Which I didn't like very much. The egg's didn't taste lik eggs. The orange juice was NOT orange juice- it was PULP. With a puddle of JUICE. I hate pulp, so that didn't really help. But anyway we all went back up to pack up all of our stuff and load it up.
Took about 40 minutes to get everyone loaded up and everything.
Then we were off to Philedalphia. Which when we got there....I LOVED. I love walking around cities, and lemme tell ya- this was A CITY. It was really interesting, and I got to see......
Where the real world Phileldelphia was shot. It was very cool. I touched the building. Ha. That was fun.
Then we went to lunch- and it was HUGE inside this shopping thing. We got lunch and I sat down, and Sam, Cari, and Emily came so chyeah. Then Sam left so Alex came....yeap. Also I had ran out of film and needed a new camera. So I bought one.
(Oh and, this was Tori's birthday by the way...yay)
Then after that we did more walking and stuff for a few more hours. But I liked it.
Then at about- eh, 5:30? We left, and went to eat...at ANOTHER MALL...which was fine with us, and we all went and ate, yeah was fun. (Look at quotes below)
Then it took an hour or so to get to the hotel, which, in my opinion was not at all as nice as the other- there was somehting in the bathtub, Alex tried to touch it, but we couldn't figure out what it was. But we all fell asleep fairly easily that night.
THURSDAY-
We wake up, go to breakfast, which was nicer, but all they had was like cereal and donughts, which i'm not complainin' but eggs would have been nice anyway. Oh well. So we got loaded easier that morning and drive off to Gettysburg park thing. Where we had this tour guy (some what annoying) and we had to get off every 10 minutes, so you would get confy and get of, and get confy, and get off....and it was FREEZING....but I didn't really care. So when we went to Devil's Den (which I remember so CLEARLY from when I went to it with my family...) It was kind of fun when we all went into the Triangular Field to see if peoples camera's would start breaking because of the ghosts. "Do you ever feel the prickley things on the back of your neck?" hahaha. very fun.
LUNCH N' SHOPS- We had about 45 minutes to eat and go out and do a little rammin' but so many people went to McDonalds it took about 30 minutes to get our food, so we RAN down the street to the little shop and I was able to get a lollipop. Heeeheee. And a pencil sharpener shaped like a cannon for my daddy. (I missed him) And then once we all met at the bus- it was time to set off back home.
So they didn't have very many movies, but being the obbsesser I am- I had packed Secondhand Lions (...what? I thought maybe the rooms have VCR's, but they didn't. Anyway-) So I told Ms. Neinninger, and she was happy to hear it, so we all watched that...haha, cari and I had fun staring at Haley Joel Osment. So around 9:10 we all got home and I was pretty glad. So I went to bed.
It was very fun, but now i'm looking forward to my birthday which is this sunday ^^ I will be in Boone, NC all weekend- so I may not get on for a few days.
